Over the past two weeks, our Aistear theme has focused on the various Emergency Services in Ireland. In the various stations, the children role-played as the different characters- Nurses, Doctors, Ambulance workers, Guards and members of the Fire Service. They designed their own fire engines using paper and incorporating their knowledge of shape. Using Mobilo, the pupils created various emergency vehicles. Finally, they played in the small world area.
