On February 1st we celebrated St. Brigid’s Day in Senior Infants. We learned all about St. Brigid and discussed the significance of St. Brigid in our lives. We discussed and brainstormed how we could be like St Brigid in our own lives i.e looking out for others, importance of kindness etc. We learned all about St. Brigid’s cloak and used pieces of coloured felt to create our own textured cloaks. We enjoyed cutting, sticking and colouring while building on our fine motor skills in the process.
