Our class were more than happy to celebrate Science during Science Week 2022. We donned our lab coats to explore a number of different materials and reactions through some scientific experiments. We looked closely at salt, pepper, static energy, washing up liquid, Skittles, water, soda and raisins. As true scientists, we predicted the outcomes before examining some outrageous results! We then got our hard hats on for some construction and engineering. Based on the fairytale stories we wrote, we used recycled materials to construct a scene from these stories. We planned out our piece before getting to work. We really enjoyed it, even when some creations were trickier to build than others!
