There is lots of planting going on in Mount Eden despite the fact that our planting area is only temporary. So far we have planted early potatoes, fennel, marigolds, beetroot, peas, lumpers, spring onions, lettuce, rocket, camomile, rosemary, mint, chives, lemon balm, lavenders and thyme. We have also planted native Irish wild flower seeds, poppies and special plants for different types of bees including the honey bee, the bumble bee and solitary bee.
