Last week we began using ipads as part of our literacy instruction. We used the ipads in pairs so we got the chance to work together. We used an app called sight words by photo touch to hear our sight words and choose the word we heard and we also used an app called phonics match which is like a memory game to match the sounds in pairs. We really enjoyed using technology in our classroom and we are so lucky to have such wonderful resources in our school. Some other apps that we hope to use in the future include writing wizard and Jolly Adventure.
