Occupancy rates are high at Mount Eden Insect Hotel
17th May 2022
Ms O'Daly's 4th class began working on the insect hotel back in December 2021 when in those early days, it consisted merely of four empty pallets. As time has passed the pallets have been filled with wood, straw, cardboard, bricks, twigs, slate and many items to attract all types of clientele! Today it is a busy little place and home to a wide variety of insects. The rooftop wild-flower garden, sown by Ms O'Daly's class back in December, is definitely the cool place for pollinators to hang out!
