In class, we have been reading and discussing the story 'The Rainbow Fish' by Marcus Pfister. We have explored the characters and the message of kindness in the story. Last week, we created our very own 'Rainbow Fish' using a variety of materials such as tinfoil, crepe paper, paper, felt, wool and glitter. By using these mixed medias, the children develop their fine motor and problem-solving skills, while creating wonderful art with various textures and a 3D effect.
