We have had a fantastic start to the year here in Ms O’Carroll’s First Class!
This week, with the help of Ms Lenihan, we experimented with solids, liquids and gases to create our own lava lamps. We discussed the differences between solids, liquids and gases and then did our experiment. We added water, oil and food colouring to a bottle, then added an effervescent tablet and watched our lava lamps come alive! Well done to the boys and girls for being such wonderful, curious scientists!
