Junior Infants attend their first Assembly.

11th Oct 2024

The junior infant classes had a wonderful opportunity to attend their very first assembly today.  The assembly was presented by the most senior students in our school - 6th class.    The assembly opened with the beautiful but simple poem by Séamus Ó Néill - Subh Milis. This was followed by speeches and notices by the students.   We heard news from members of the Student Council, Active Flag and Greenschools committees.   The closing song was Happy Endings by Mika.  We are so proud of our sixth class girls and boys.  First classes, senior infants and junior infants were so engaged and particularly loved the song at the end.  Junior infants watched attentively and loved being there.   The next assembly will be presented by the fifth classes. We are looking forward to that already.
