Junior Entrepreneur Programme: Pitching to the Dragons!
Junior Entrepreneur Programme: Pitching to the Dragons!
This week, our fifth class groups participated in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme, an exciting opportunity to explore the world of business and entrepreneurship. We were tasked with developing a product idea, researching its feasibility, and preparing a compelling presentation to pitch our idea to our very own panel of dragons: Ms. Marnell and Ms. Keenan!
Our classrooms were buzzing with creativity as we brainstormed and refined our product ideas. From personalized bike locks to comfy cushions, there was no shortage of innovative concepts. Each group meticulously researched their product, considering factors like cost of materials, production methods, and potential market demand.
The dragons were impressed with our ideas and asked us lots of questions. They wanted to know everything about our target market, our marketing strategy, and our financial projections.
After all of the presentations, Ms. Keenan and Ms. Marnell had a tough decision to make. They had to choose one class group from each class to move forward with their business idea.
We were all on the edge of our seats as Ms. Keenan and Ms. Marnell announced the winners. And the winners were...
- Mr. Murray's class: Happy Hats
- Ms. Lyons' class: Multi-sport gloves
- Mr. Molloy's class: Moonballs
We are so proud of all the hard work our class groups put into this project. We learned so much about entrepreneurship, teamwork, and problem-solving. We are excited to see what the future holds for our businesses!
A big thank you to Ms. Marnell and Ms. Keenan for facilitating this experience!
