January has been a very busy and exciting month in our class! We are learning all about Houses and Homes, and our Aistear theme is The Estate Agent. The children have been having so much fun exploring this theme—enjoying the role-play area where they get to look at and ‘buy’ houses, and using their creativity to construct and build houses in the small world area.
We also had some special highlights this month! Ruth brought Blu on many adventures when she had him for the week, including a fun trip to Funderland, which everyone loved hearing about! 
We were very excited to celebrate Sienna's 6th Birthday too. She had lots of fun popping the balloons on the board and spinning on the chair 6 times! Happy Birthday Sienna! 
A big congratulations to Lucy, who competed in and came first in her Irish Dancing Feis last weekend—what an incredible achievement! We were so lucky to have her bring in her Irish dancing shoes and show us her fantastic performance. Well done, Lucy!
