Congratulations to our incredible 5th and 6th Class Girls' Team who won their final group game over Our Lady of Good Counsel GNS on Monday to become the 3rd St Mary's team to finish top of their group table!
The girls have played brilliantly all year and have really achieved our three aims of trying our best, improving our skills and having fun in every game that they have played.
Goals from Aisling and Evie as well as points from Ada, Ava, Emily helped the team to a 2-7 to 0-6 point win. Crucial on the day as always were the defensive exploits of Aisling O, Zoey, Lauren and all of the defenders. Captain Sarah led the team from the front along with her 6th class colleagues Asavari, Heidi, Liv, Elizabeth and Alannah, each of whom have been great role models for their 5th class teammates this year.
