As part of Friendship week we explored the book the Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister to help us understand the concept of a good friend and how to show kindness.
We then made our own Rainbow fish in art using various printing techniques to create fish scales.
As part of our effort to promote kindness and friendship here in Senior Infants we added a friendship tree to our classroom. Any child who shows kindness to their peers gets their name added to the friendship tree.
