We have started to investigate our own personal and family history in Junior Infants. The class have examined some of their old clothes, photographs, toys, shoes, blankets in order to appreciate and understand how they have changed. The items brought in from home have prompted many discussions about our families, our life as a baby and how much we have grown since we were born. The children love explaining their items/ pictures to their classmates. Thank you very much to all families who sent in historical items to display. All items will be returned home when we have finished this topic.
