Creative Schools’ Week

16th Feb 2025

Third Class had a very creative start to February this year! We kicked things off with a special visit from stained glass window artist Peadar Lamb, who shared his expertise with the children, inspiring them with his beautiful artwork and creative process.

Throughout the week, we also participated in a "Drop Everything and Draw" activity each day, where students across all classes took a moment to pick up their pencils and express themselves creatively on paper.

The outdoors became our canvas as well, with students using natural materials to create land art. From twigs and stones to leaves and flowers, the children worked together to design their own outdoor masterpieces.

To wrap up the week, the children took inspiration from the great Leonardo da Vinci for a STEM challenge: building bridges! It was a week filled with creativity, learning, and teamwork, and we all really enjoyed it!
