We had a wonderful start to Creative February in 6th class. We attended a workshop with stained glass artist Peadar Lamb organised by Ms. Lambe. Grace O Connor, Ruby H., Mary, Maya, Bláithín and Grace O Callaghan were lucky enough tp create some lovely pieces of stained glass too. We had creative free play outdoors in the sunshine last Tuesday. Katherine created a flamingo stuffed toy. Bláithín created a flower out of leaves for creative homework. Juliet created a fast dance and is teaching it to our class. Last Friday we hosted a bake sale on the Mount Eden campus. We raised money for Coeliac Society, Concern and Irish Cancer Society. We linked up with other schools on a zoom call and made origami hearts together. We did 10minutes of drop everything and draw every day last week and worked on the same piece. They remain a work in progress and can't wait to display them in our classroom.
Lastly, we are getting ready to put on our musical 'Annie' which we have been spending months rehearsing.
