Today was a truly special day at Saint Mary’s NS as we celebrated Grandparents’ Day with our school community. The day began with a beautiful Mass in Donnybrook Church, where grandparents, parents, students, and staff came together to mark this meaningful occasion.
Our 5th Class choir, led by Ms. Lyons, filled the church with uplifting music, adding a warm and joyful atmosphere to the celebration. Students from 2nd to 6th Class took part in reading prayers and sharing their favourite memories of their grandparents, with Ms. Murphy guiding them in this touching tribute.
After Mass, we welcomed our Grandparents to our Belmont campus, where they got to experience first-hand the wonderful learning environment at Saint Mary’s. The children were absolutely delighted to showcase their classrooms, share their schoolwork, and give their grandparents a glimpse into their daily learning.
It was a heart-warming day filled with laughter, storytelling, prayer and appreciation, a true testament to the community spirit of Saint Mary’s NS.
