Bumbulance, Maths and Class Novel
BUMBLEance is the Children’s Ambulance Service of Ireland. They provide safe and comfortable transportation for Ireland’s youngest patients as they travel between their homes and hospitals, hospices, treatment centres, and respite centres nationwide. We had the pleasure of a visit from them and the Dublin Firebrigade recently. Check out our photos! There are also photos of us doing maths stations on a Friday morning reinforcing concepts we learn within the week. We use the Ipads and a variety of games to make maths fun. We have begun a new class novel: Fantastic Mr Fox by Roald Dahl. We are really enjoying it so far. We made character profiles for each of the main characters in our groups. Working together collaboratively is one of our 21st Century skills for learning, coupled with creativity we are making great strides in our classroom.
